The pictures below are of 2 antique chairs I customized a few years ago for a local fund raising event. Proceeds went to the Noyes Home for Children, which is an establishment that cares for children who's parents are unable to care for them. All photos viewed larger by a mouse click.

This one is for the tree climber. The chair itself has miniature tree house elements built in--tire swing, butterfly net, rope ladder, and bucket rope pulley. I don't know about you, but some of the best times of my life involved climbing trees.

This one was created with a young daydreaming girl in mind. A customized antique jewelry box is incorporated in the seat, tree twigs build into the frame.
